Works with your desktop phone so you need not pick up your phone to dial simply dial from your desktop. The users phone will ring and you will hear the other parties phone begin to ring. The Dubtel Desktop Client also shows a map with your contacts showing who is on line and their location and a search tool to find services in your local area. Example "Ice Cream" It should be able to find ice cream retailers in your location and you can click to make the connection.
The Dubtel Desktop Client also provides the Dubtel Instant Messaging feature so you can send instant messages to your Dubtel contacts on line.
Screen Callers
Would you like to know who is calling and screen unknown callers?
Whether you receive your call on a home, work or mobile phone, Dubtel will tell you who's calling before you accept the call. If the number of the phone calling you is already in your Dubtel address book, we'll let you know the name you have for that contact. If the number of the phone number calling you is from a Dubtel user we will play you their recorded greeting. If it is a new phone, Dubtel will ask the person for their name the first time they call (this will be stored in your address book).
With Dubtel Call Screening you can:

Dubtel provides easy access to voice mail, with voice mail notification on the web and mobile devices. Listening to voice mail is as easy as clicking on your visual voice mail button.

Recording calls is now easy and you can access your recordings everywhere.
With Dubtel you can start call recording at anytime before or during a call. Simply press the number 3 to turn recording on or off, all parties will hear a notification for call recording been initiated or stopped. You can listen to your call recordings on the web, desktop client, smart phone or by simply calling into your Dubtel Voicemail.
With Dubtel Call Recording you can:

Note: If you choose to use Dubtel Call Recording, be sure to check your local laws regarding call recordings. Most states only require one party's consent (yours), but others require both parties to consent. There are significant
penalties for recording a call without the other party's consent in these states so to be safe you should let your callers know you are recording the call. It's the nice thing to do regardless.
Tip: You can forward recorded messages just like you do voice mail forwarding
